Currently I run a private counselling practice in Worthing West Sussex. In the past I worked for Adult Services for over 11 years, dealing with many aspects of physical, emotional and mental health difficulties; including trauma, disability and loss. I have also worked as a counsellor for over 13 years both in private practice and within the voluntary sector.

My experience includes working with a variety of emotional and mental health issues in my private counselling practice, counselling clients with alcohol and drug use issues in a hospital setting, and counselling elderly and disabled clients for a voluntary agency, mostly in their own homes. I have worked in a multidisciplinary setting incorporating the NHS, GP surgeries, Adult Services and the voluntary sector. In my private practice I see adults of all ages.

Clients bring a variety of difficulties including anger, abuse, trauma, marital issues, disability, anxiety, loss or work related concerns. I also visit clients in their own home, nursing home or hospital if they are frail or disabled. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and the UKAHPP (United Kingdom Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners), governing bodies that ensure professionalism within counselling and psychotherapy. I have given talks in both London and locally and had a variety of articles published.
