Julia Young is a trained Hypnotherapist, registered with the American Board of Hypnotherapists.  

Julia has found that Hypnotherapy can be a valuable way to work with issues such as sleep difficulties, weight loss, health cioncerns including difficulties with pain, and alcohol use, to name but a few.

Hypnotherapy works by using relaxation to dialogue with the unconscious, enabling you to act in the best interest of your self.  The positive outcomes experienced with Hypnotherapy can be gradual or may be quite profound.  Learning to trust in the process and that when we understand the language of the unconscious change is possible can bring about deep and meaningful insights/change.

What can I expect?

The first session usually takes 1 1/2 hours and subsequent sessions are 50 minutes.  Normally a maximum of 6 sessions is offered.

During the first session details will be taken exploring your issue/s and basic health information. Hypnotherapy will also be explained during this session.  You can then be invited to experience Hypnotherapy for yourself.

Hypnotherapy scripts will be designed to work with your own personal experiences (provided by CD or email), which you can use in the comfort of your own home and strategies considered, which can reinforce the Hypnotherapy messages discussed during the session.
